Grief support

Today was my first day at grief support, and it was simular to what I thought it would be like.
There were a lot of women, and only three men, one who also lost there loved one from mulitple myeloma, very odd we sat across from one another. poor thing has not even had ther memorial service yet.

So many steps so many things you do... on auto pilot, some where sharing there story of that...
I have my story of the memorial for mom, it was good, I think; It was givien by a minister from our group, and it was very nice, and it was about mom and her beliefs, and about her love for her God, and how he was important to her,
She was very religious, and it showed and that was "the main point' she had other points, about family but that was not the whole story, maybe someone else would have wanted to speak, about mom as an artist, and about her joy of the ocean, and her passion for painting it... her love for her grandchildren, her talent for cooking...but nobody said, they wanted to do that... we had so many other distractions going on with issues from family memebers; we could not relax enough to see what was really happing, I think you are in a fog...

Back to the support group, I think everyone that looses someone should go to grief couseling it really helps to know you are normal and not alone here on this path.
